Encrypt Files Portal

This guide explains how to use your bFlash Master Portal to encrypt .BDC files

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

1 Access the Encryption Portal

Log in to your bFlash Account. Once logged in, click on the En/Decrypt Files tab.

2 Select Operation

Click on the option Encrypt a file to begin the process.

3 Configure Settings

Before uploading your .BDC file, you must configure the encryption parameters:

  • Select Master: If you own more than one Master tool, choose the relevant one from the dropdown list.
  • Set Lifetime: Define how long the encrypted (.SBDC) file will remain valid.
  • Select Slaves: You have two choices:
    • Encrypt for All Slaves.
    • Select Specific Slaves manually from the list.
4 Upload File

You can now upload the .BDC file you wish to encrypt:

  • Drag and Drop the .BDC file into the designated area.
  • Or Click to browse your computer and select the .BDC file.

Once selected, click the Upload button.

5 Download Encrypted .SBDC File

Once the upload starts, there are two ways to retrieve your encrypted .SBDC file:

Option 1: Direct Download
Click the Back button and wait for the encryption process to finalize. Once ready, a Download button will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Option 2: Via Email
You can close the window if you prefer. You will automatically receive an email containing the download link as soon as the encryption is finished.

Note: Ensure that you have selected the correct Master tool if you have multiple devices, as this determines which Slaves are visible in the selection list.
