How do I use the "Rebuild File" function?

The Rebuild File function allows you to reconstruct a full .BDC file. It's perfect for reapplying modified parts (for example, a modified Flash file) onto a original .BDC file, while preserving all other data.

Steps to follow:

  1. Select the Profile:  Choose the Brand and Control Unit profile that matches your files.

  2. Load the Original File: Click the "1. Load Original File..." button and select the complete, unmodified file. This file serves as the base or "template" for the reconstruction. Its size will be validated.

  3. Load ONLY the Modified Parts: Buttons ("Load Flash0...", "Load Eeprom0...") will become active. Use them to load only the file parts that you have modified. If you don't load a file for a specific part (e.g., the Eeprom), the tool will keep the Eeprom data from the original base file.

  4. Start the Rebuild: Click the "Rebuild File" button. The tool will create a new folder named Rebuilt_[your_filename].

  5. Retrieve Your Final File: This folder will contain the final rebuilt file (with the _rebuilt.bin suffix) as well as a copy of the original file you used as a base. The "Access Your Files" button will allow you to access it with one click.
