How to Perform an OBD-over-BENCH Identification for a Mercedes-Benz Unlock (2021+ BENCH locked)

To ensure a successful MB Unlock request, please follow these steps to correctly perform an OBD Over BENCH Identification:

1. Open the bFlash Application.

2. Select the Correct Protocol. : 

   Choose your ECU : 

   • MD1CP001 for 1.95D(OM654) & 2.9D(OM656) 

   • MG1CP002 for 2.0T(M139) & 3.0T(M256)

   make sure to select the OBD protocol (NOT Bench).

3. Click on the “Help” Button.
   This will display the connection diagram specific to your ECU. 

4. Make the Physical Connections.

   • Carefully follow the schematic to connect your ECU to the bFlash BENCH cable.

   • Plug in the bFlash power supply to power jack at the back of the bFlash device. 

5. Perform the Identification.
   Once all connections are secure and the bFlash is powered, click on the “Identification” button in the bFlash Application.

6. Check Unlock Availibility on Our Website

   Go to our Website -> your Cart, enter the VIN of the vehicle and the calibration reference in the format XXX-903-[XXXX], then click on "Go to checkout".

   • If no error is displayed, it means we support your software version and you can proceed.

   • If you see an error message, you won’t be able to proceed to payment please send us the log of your Identification to support@bflash.eu.
